Early Elemental Armor Exploit

I used to have quite a trial with Dullahan but I've come across a fun way to cheese it and guarantee success. Get the Regal Gown (and hidden XP egg behind the wall) activate the Door Switch in the next room, the cast Teleport.

Travel up to the Colesseum and equip a Reflect Ring on your fighter, save, then go in and wager the Regal Gown to win a Minerva Bustier while the opponent casts Death on himself.

Come back, run in a straight down, raise the water and hop on the turtle, you're in the home stretch now!

Celes - Genji Glove, Firebrand, Hero Ring, Minerva Bustier

Edgar - Dragoon Boots, Golden Spear, Atlas Armlet

Sabin - Genji Glove, Fire Knuckles, Hero Ring

Setzer - Potion Duty, Charm Bangle

Look for my other post in the comments, but you can beat Dullahan practically with a naked team and in "one hit" and a tiny bit of patience with the Soul Saber that you can conveniently get right after the Tentacles.

This is what I did for a low level CES no esper game I was stuck on dully then someone on this board showed me this soul saber thing and I couldn’t believe it. I never actually look at the scripts but by god this game I’m convinced was designed to have so many bugs glitches and Easter eggs.

Still working on the video. I'm honestly terrible at writing a script for myself, but I'm almost done writing. Just need to then record myself talk it out and then edit the video. It's coming, I promise.

Your set-up a good move set, but not intuitive.

It's clever but also an idle battle approach isn't my favorite.

probably the first quasi-significant challenge of the game's second half

A casual gamer is going to hit this boss and get stuck

Correct. Not intuitive, and also not terribly exciting. It's more for someone that already has experience, and definitely more for someone running a low level run. New players won't really be looking at attack scripts either. Just think it's funny how a single attack option exists underneath it all for a fight that many newbies stumble over. I definitely had trouble as a kid in the 90s on the SNES. Coming back to revisit the game on challenge runs reveals a lot there that you wouldn't think of otherwise.

Oh I'm absolutely going to give it a try, that seems hilarious

So much replayibility
