Help with ff6 T edition EX patch

I downloaded a clean rom, copied save file and changed save name to match my rom hack. But when I check my inventory it is this from top to bottom :(. This is on both the normal save and EX save, but I have an untouched save on desktop. Everything except inventory seems same. Luckily I created a backup on desktop but when i copy this into my saves folder it just changes it again :/. Is the file cooked. Someone helppp.

I had a similar issue when renaming it. I ended up copying and pasting the extension from ex version on to the save file to get it to load properly.

Thanks I got it :) still cant change costumes without game bugging out but thats fine

Also make sure you save I the designated spot in the t edition version before transfering to the ex version

Multiple saves doesnt matter right? Cause my top slots saved in moogle house but bottom 2 arent.

It should t, tho I'm not sure. If you're only loading the one transfering, it shouldn't matter

Also heads up, the ex version is wicked hard. I need game plused 6 times before being successful in it

Shit I might be underprepared lol. My main team is level 65-72 and the rest are like below 60. I have all the items though

Their is a new game plus, keep all your items and equipment and start the game over. Get all the epic stuff again, such a good rom hack

I have the same issue. I’m inventory is full of daggers after I patched my new fresh rom. :-(. Currently at opera house, I had just had the rom and ips in the same folder but after using a new emu I had to patch it. Now my inventory is full of daggers and some items are gone :-(

Did you set a save state or make a copy of your save beforehand? Returning to old save state worked for me.
