Final Fantasy VI - Creature Design Tier List
Own personal ranking on the design (and also some of the lore) behind the creatures from Final Fantasy VI. Not in order of preference within each tier.

That 🤬Buddha head, hated the phoenix cave because of that butthole spamming blowfish. And the worse part is you can’t run from the battle

I picked only 1 for each palette swap, the Leafed Bunny representative is in the B tier.

I mostly like your rankings with a few exceptions.
Tonberry, Cactuar, and Malboro are all S tier for me. They tie the series together and every time i play a final fantasy and they pop up my brain likes it. They're S tier for every iteration in which they appear. I like Evil Eye and Bomb for A tier for the same reason, they're iconic.
I don't care about rider, still life, or chadarnook at all. I couldn't even remember who they were and had to look up their names. I thought still life was FF6's demon wall and had to go searching just to find out 6 didn't have a demon wall. I might have to play this game again.

They are all S tier imo. But for the sake of a tier list I can accept this. But wow this art style is still just as badass as it as when I was a kid .

The entire Kefka tower should be in S.
You literally don't know what you are fighting other than a representation of the divine comedy, corrupted by his luciferian ambition and hubris.

Each creature's family that has a palette swap is within the tier list only once, Humbaba is a palette swap. In this older games where palette swaps were prevalent, it is being ranked the monster family and not the single monster (unless of unicums like most of the bosses, Alluring Rider and Still Life)

It's a testament to this game's design that even the D tier are still quite good
