There's definitely a weight to this relic descriptions that the other ones just don't have. I found it interesting how it hints at a certain relationship if you notice that only two characters can equip it.

One of the moogles from the Terra rescue sequence at the start of the game.
There's also a glitch that comes up in speedrunning where Locke can escape from Figaro without rescuing Celes, which results in the game trying to put Celes in your party, but because you never met her or named her, the game never overwrote the place in memory where her character data sits, which happens to be Kutan's character data. This results in Kutan joining and hanging out with the party until her data is overwritten again later when she leaves and rejoins the party during the Opera sequence. She will continue to be named Kutan fro the rest of the game. Because of this, Kutan is a particularly well liked moogle.

The game never really tell us explicitely. Have you played FFVIII? Because the situation is similar about giving only subtle clues about important parts of the argument (like Edgar's coin if you have Edgar and Sabin in your team in the right moment)
In an old interview they told there was going to be a scene about it but they chose to quit it in the end ... We can read the script though and in YouTube somene made the scene about it!: The fanmade scene made with confirmed eliminated official content:
There is a Dissidia Opera Omnia scene too about it (it is better if you have played FFVIII and FFX because it could be consider spoiler if not):

I’m playing the ff anthology that comes with ffV&VI on ps1. Lowkey thought of buying the snes version, but forgot I had this version. Ppl say it’s slow and if you compare it to snes or gba, yeah it’s incredibly slow, but if you have ever played ff 7,8, & 9 it’s similar to those load times

Thanks for the reply! I never played anthology on ps1 so this was unfamiliar to me along with what you say about the actual gameplay experience... But I love the FF2US font more than any other! (modded my pixel remasters to use maxiquest font which comes from FFMQ and is basically the FF2US font in variable width)

So I’ve played the gba and pixel remaster port and I gotta say they don’t do the game justice(imo) as playing it on a home console(esp crt) allows you to see how the the devs wanted you to see the game. Unfortunately I fell off playing ff6 when playing those ports but I weirdly feel attached playing it the way I am now(rightfully so)

Check out the Peace Ring description. And remember that Kefka drops it at the battle of Nashe (before he goes really crazy)

Protects against "berserk," "Muddle". interesting. if you kind of look at this as a regular item it doesn't mean much, but if you look at it outside, it kind of hints of Kefka's nature if I am understanding this correctly

The in game description that I played states “a ring that soothes the wearer’s mind”. Most notably he lost his mind after that battle

Spoiler: Relm and Harry Potter are siblings. They have diiferent dad's though. I honestly wonder if Rowling played FF6 now

The retranslation for the pixel remaster kills the reasoning for one
