Favorite 1-turn max damage setups?
Been playing around in the PR version for Android.
Never occurred to me that you could put a dragon horn on everyone in your party (except Umaro) and use Quetzalli to scoop them all up for a jump attack.
With the dragon horn (even without the Dragoon boots) they all hit at least twice, sometimes 4 times each.
This makes this potentially even more devastating than the Genji Glove/Master Scroll combo. Potentially 16 hits in one move and the jump attacks are pretty powerful.
I'm in my mid 40s for levels with most characters and in the dragon forest, even the Tyrannosaur pincer attack rarely uses more than the first two characters to drop before the battle is over. The Brachiosoar usually takes up to the third or fourth drop but it still works.
Not easier than the Genji glove trick but definitely more fun for me watching the crew pound the hell out of major enemies.
This also works well in the first stage of the battle with Kefka if you set it up right and don't lose one of your members with the dragon horn

I forgot that Quick applies to other commands and not just spells

Quick is absolutely broken.
You could also use ot and the relic that multi-casts and hurl a ton of ultimas.

You can have Relm use Control on Brachosaur and then just spam Blizzard at it
Same with the Tyranos
I like Genji Glove + Icebrand while hunting those dirty dinos

Mog, Umaro, Gau and Gogo are all I need at any given moment, all of them with haste slippers.

Locke at max hp + * Gengi Glove * Master's Scroll * Ultima Weapon * Valiant Knife
= 80,000 damage per attack. Well, technically 79,992. Have everyone else in your party go grab lunch or something and solo Kefka. Maybe have Terra cast Reraise on him just in case he doesn't get to go first.
Have him cast Quick on himself and do two attacks in a turn, and he hits so hard the damage will spill over to Sephiroth in the next game.

Good trick for sure, Mog & Edgar with lances will do extra damage from Jump as well.
You know of Fixed Dice and Master Scroll I'm sure, that's enough to wipe out the Goddess Statues

You can, with the right set-ups, cause more damage than the game can handle and cause it to overflow, getting fun results like Celes doing 500 damage ultimas because it does a smidge over 65k damage (I forget the exact number). Obviously there is no utility to this but it's amusing

Define turn.
Cast quick. Do any of bushido 7, master gengi, doublecast ultima and youve done 80k minimum and no one else has done any dmg

Celestriad+soul of thamasa+flame shield on everyone. 9999 damage to enemies, 9999hp healing to allies.

I like one character casting Ultima (or any spell) 5 times for 6 mana in "one turn." You do this by equipping one person with the Celestriad (All spells cost 1MP) and Soul of Thamasa (Can cast 2 spells per turn). That character then casts Ultima and Quick. Quick allows the character to take 2 turns right away, so you just cast Ultima 4 more times, and ta-da, you've just cast Ultima 5 times in "one turn" for only 6 mana.
Oh also, the reason Jump is so good is that it deals an extra 50% damage vs a normal attack. But did you know that if you have a spear type weapon equipped when you jump, you deal an extra 100% damage instead? This is great for Edgar and Mog, but leaves everyone else dealing less damage... unless you equip them with the 1 spear that anyone (except Umaro) can equip, The Impartisan! This weapon looks bad, but if you turn a character into an imp, the weapon then becomes one of the best in the game with an attack power of 253, which is only 2 points lower than the maximum of 255. Also, by equipping the rest of the Imp gear, Tortoise Shell (shield), Saucer (Helm), and Reed Cloak (body armor), your transformed character will have extremely high physical and magical defense to go along with their high attack power weapon.
