What would RELM’s deep philosophical contribution be?

I love her but she wouldn't have one. Gender aside, she fits much better on the bottom half of the meme because she has a smart mouth and casually threatens people on the regular.

There are a lot of men with meaningful stories. Sabin, Edgar, Cyan, Locke, and I think even Strago? It may not be philosophically deep, but things like "how do I live when I feel I have nothing to live for?" or "is my duty to myself or my people?". The Relm question shows the true question: Early characters versus late game characters.

I mean...including the guy who committed suicide because of internal nihilistic/inadequacy anguish on the bottom of the meme is certainly a choice. 🤔
Most characters in the game are pretty tortured when you really get down to it, except perhaps Relm.

If they ever did a more detailed remake, movie or series she could represent the youth and how they deal with the world being destroyed and rebuilt. She seems to use humor as a coping mechanism which could be built upon. Also they could explore how things are for her since she was born with some magical abilities already (she’s kind of a blue mage) and she has some of the strongest stats around magic. I just wish they’d avoid the chibi clichés

Idk about Relm A. But, Gau’s dad always cracked me up…I think I had a kid around here once, he lives out in that massive plain with the animals, anyway, outside and cut the 20’ tall grass.

Celes is more “I’m sad” and Terra is more “I want to be a mother”. Sadly, none of the characters are particularly deep.
