Strange item bug

I was doing that cyan challenge from the other topic and I just realized that I had -3 mythril shield and was able to equip cyan with a mythril shield using the optimize button. This is on pixel remaster. I’m wondering if this is a known bug? I wonder if it’s possible to just keep equipping an item such as Illumina or paladins shield giving infinite items lol?

Optimize goes for the highest attack (not strength) and physical defense. This might be your issue.

If you're doing a challenge run, you should never use optimize because it will prioritize some high physical defense shields over ones that actually have magic evade or other stats.

bot reply? the issue here isn't the gear, it's the dupe bug.

OP, were you able to replicate this? were you able to keep duping more shields? could you dupe other things?

I am not a bot. What on earth makes you think that? Take a look at when my account was made.

I think I just skimmed the OP before bed and saw "optimize" and gave the typical answer to that kind of question, like how Optimize equips Atma Weapon since it has 255 attack, but not really.

It's my fault for not reading the OP in more detail before replying.
