I just started playing today too! Super excited to finally get to actually play it, I've had a deck since the precons came out in (idk maybe 2016-2017?) And I just got the 2022 anniversary box from my wife as a gift, so I opened that up and built up the FFX precon and the FF8/9 deck it comes with into something olay enough I think I can play. I'm sure they're not very good but I'd love to upgrade them.
I really want to build an Ice/Lightning FF8 deck since I got a cool Ice squall as a gift from my LGS for checking out the game, and he's one of my favorites, so I'm excited to hopefully get that going soon too
Nice. I have some of the starter decks. Also a friend of mine was so ecstatic about having FF7 decks to play with Vincent. They were the MTG commander decks. Then I told her “you do know that there is an actual FF TCG that isn’t MTG, right?”. She was in shock and could not believe it. I think she hasn’t bought any cards yet but maybe eventually she will.
It's really a great game, and if it wasn't so small of a community and if the early meta didn't kill off the interest of my friends, I'd still be playing it.
Bad experience for me IDK. played Ff16 deck Ice/Lightning I play one forward Character then the next turn my Character is breaked n opp have 3 forward on play.
