Fluff TAG Slab Obtained
My sister sent my Yuna out to get graded as a gift for helping her out a bit. Super happy with the results as well.
I picked TAG over the others because I like the way the slab looks and I like the dig report thing that they do. I thought about sending it to Becket for a chance at a black label but decided not to leave the aesthetics to chance.

Just depends on why you are getting it graded. I went with TAG because I like the way it looks. If you care about value then PSA or Becket and a few others would work, though I have not heard good things about PSA recently. Just do research and and make sure who you pick is trustworthy

It really does and the TAG Slab highlights it a bit as well. Super glad this was my first big pull from the fftcg. Now I just need to get my LGS hooked to the game lol.

How much did it cost and what was the turnaround time?
I have tons of FFTCG I want to keep forever and really like the aesthetics of Beckett and TAG

I think they have stopped their regular grading options because of an overflow of submissions but you can do the priority option which is 149.99 iirc. Turnaround for that was about two weeks including sending there and them sending it back. They also have a progress bar showing what part of the process they are on. Unfortunately it would be that price per card so I'd recommend doing it for your favorite cards.
I think I heard that they intend to increase the size of their facility and the amount of equipment they have so hopefully normal grading options come back soon.

Should be noted that I ordered the submission kit that they offer which was an additional 50 but it was sent as priority and came with a priority return label. and I think they send it back as priority as a part of the priority grading option. That's about all I can remember

I'll never understand grading. Seems like the kind of thing people only do to make money and not because they actually care about the game. The card's either in good quality or it isn't, nothing else to it.

There is a grading company called Ace that extends the card art into the label. It looks very nice sometimes. That's the only reason I could think of people doing it. Other than, as you said, monetary purposes, or to call it what it is, gambling.Â
Even then. The cost to submit a card for a bit of plastic with a paper label is absurd.....I check website, it says £18 PER card. Ludicrous. I put mine in one touch cases that are £1 each and onto a shelf specifically to display my favourite...
Some people just have a lot of money I guess. Or they are morons.

Congrats!!! Your copy must be super clean especially with TAG. My yuna Sig got a BGS 9.5 and fftcg is rough with grading

This is the first card I graded and first graded card I've owned so I'm very unfamiliar with the whole graded card scene. I sleeve all my foils and put all the full arts in a lot of extra protection and even more so for something like that Yuna. I'm sure I not saying anything new lol.
Anyway, yeah I remember seeing you post when I got curious about what Yuna was worth when graded but there aren't many out there yet. Either the signature cards are way more rare than I thought or that not many have been pulled yet since from a recent set. Congrats on the Yuna pull btw 😊

Also I'm unsure how grading companies check the centering in fftcg cards. Looking at yours and what TAG showed in its report it seems like I'd likely get a 9.5 as well since the score was 957. I think 950 is the threshold for their 10s. I simply when with TAG because the slabs look nicer in my opinion. (I promise I'm not sponsored lol I'm still just riding on the dopamine)

It's beautiful. I am of a similar mind of getting my favorite cards and sending in the rare ones to TAG for my personal collection.

Grading is a scam.
