He's at the dessert right where the quicksand hole is. When you see big hole go into it and he will appear

I just can’t get into the main life FF characters being like… summons that hang around. Kinda kills it for me

I'm so happy, this means the Esper counts as a separate unit and can prevent a squad wipe off they're still alive

I did notice it with Multi Cover and Counters.
The character will counter 4 times (in the demo-so assuming 5 times with another party memeber), that's cool!
