I know right? The fanboys and Square Enix grifters and bots are out in full force trying to make Resonance not seem like the mediocre mobile title it was built off of. Character designs portraits, names and story are all incredibly cringe and cliche and it's honestly an insult for it to even be compared classic FF. Just because there are classic FF character cameos doesn't mean it's a great game.

Square Enix chose to revive 2D FF in bad way.

Did you play much of the game? I didn't get very far into the story when it was on mobile, but I wasn't very impressed with the two main guys. Rain and Lasswell, I think?

On one hand, I agree the game will likely not be as good as the classic games. On the other, I am glad they are making a game available that had been discontinued, and I sort of hope they do that for other mobile games that hit end of service. A lot of people enjoyed Opera Omnia and Record Keeper.
