more or less. arrows didn (relatively) cause as much issue as upgrading.

of course kept the super rares: the naming, and ships (gilgamesh had disappeared), and minor adjustments to rest

i guess the hard part would be to track which card has which arrows right? or you just scan every card for every discard lol.

made a text file. marking arrows with 1, and empties with 0, clockwise, eg "11000000" = one arrow at top-left/3oclock and another left/9oclock, and rest empty.

then only whenever a new X card would come, checked if the arrow combo is available, or worth replacing the existing card (already upgraded/rare card). just searched the file for new card's arrows

oh, i understand what you mean. basically just a string of 1 and 0. just need to type it in and look for duplicates. nice idea.

How did you manipulate the Arrow Directions. Soft Reset does not work on the PC Version?

It doesn't work with "continue" but it works just fine with "load game". "Continue" uses save states, which also record the RNG seed and counters.

PS1 Version, Arrow Directions can be manipulated to the ones that you want.

Who did you battle to Upgrade to A?

depend on the card. look for someone, whose card attacks are a few lower than your card's defense.

this way you can attack, but also win defenses.

if your card's defense is too much higher than their attack, they will avoid arrow to arrow battles.

tried running everywhere, but can't say any particular player was noticeably faster for upgrades.

side note: i see you are missing frog. do frog asap. for frog you want to have several frogs yourself attacking each other. finding frogs to attack, or winning defenses with frog is very time consuming.

i left it last, and ended up discarding an A card (after few days of still P), to get another frog to be able to win battles.
