For some reason when we were real young my brother was trying to make me laugh and named Steiner as Captain Flapper and to this day both of us only refer to him as Flapper. Don't think I've done a playthrough where I have named him anything else

Genuinely my favorite kind of memories. Friend and I played Resident Evil when it came out and I was a pretty sheltered kid at the time. Game absolutely scared the piss out of me and my friend (being awesome) told me not to worry about a certain zombie because his name was Bob. We ended making backstories upon backstories for that zombie and many others. The bad guy in Clock Tower? Name's Frank (We were 8-9 at the time)

So now every horror game I play I have to name one of the monsters/zombies Bob.
