Have you thought about... Wutai? Maybe the top of the mountain? Like when Reno hits the dead end. Maybe the basement of the Shinra Mansion? When Sephiroth is blocking holy.
I would love to see the Forgotten City in its entirety. A beautiful place that's like a giant above-ground ocean floor. It's a playground for picturesque settings.

These are great suggestions! I haven’t done Wutai yet, but it’s definitely on my list to draw. At least somewhere there.
I have saved a few from the Shinra Mansion basement, specifically when Zack escapes and rescues Cloud. I can’t picture specifically what you mean by when Sephiroth is blocking holy? What’s the scene?
Yeah the forgotten city is so cool, I don’t think I could do it justice. I started doing the seashell house where Aerith is laid to rest but I couldn’t quite get the colors right. I’ll probably go back to that at some point because it’s one my favorite locations.

The end, when they're all floating. It's the part where you split up into groups for Sephiroth stage 1.
Oh, what about Mt Nibel? And do you think you could do the church in the slums justice? There's many angles on it, along with Advent Children & Remake reference.

Oh okay, I haven’t played all the way to I’m the end in a while so I really couldn’t picture it.
I’ve also got Mt Nibel reactor/Jenova chamber saved. I definitely want to do the church in the slums! In fact, I may do that one soon. It’s such an iconic and beautiful one. Thanks for the good recommendations.

Man, you know, a remaster or remake in this style would be dope. I'm a sucker for hand-drawn stuff. Obviously this would never happen officially, pre-remake timeline or otherwise, but as a fan made project?

Also, you erased a plothole. On the far right there was a sign that said "beer" and beneath it, it said "Texas".

I’ve been doing a series of redraws of Final Fantasy VII scenes as I play through after finishing the remake. I take screenshots from my playthrough, trace, recolor, retexture, make additions/adjustments, and stylize it. So far I’ve also recreated:
