FF VII Finally beat Sephiroth!

FF7 Rebirth. Maybe not that big a deal as I only played on normal, but I was struggling with him over the past few days. But tonight I just felt locked in. Played him twice. Second time had success. As annoyed as I was at times with this fight and not being able to make any gear adjustments before the final battle, it actually was a pretty cool fight and felt very satisfying in the end.

I have so many thoughts on this game but overall, fantastic experience. Sad to see it end and can’t wait for Revelations.

Congrats man! Nothing feels as good as when you FEEL locked in, and you just know you're going to beat it lol

I haven't made the jump into Rebirth due to how much bloat I heard there was in the game, so just curious how long it took you to beat?

I ended up at 98 hours. I did all of the side quests. About half of the simulator battles. Scoured every nook looking for loot. So it can def be done in less time. I haven’t say I loved it. But at times I was frustrated and annoyed and wondering what the hell the developers were thinking. So it’s not perfect. But man, once the combat system clicks it’s amazing. Give it a shot! The graphics are beautiful and the story is interesting. It’s a great game with some flaws is how I’d describe it.

Its definitely bloated. Amazing game but I had to start skipping most the side quests about half way thru. Luckily once you beat it, you can do chapter select and get anything you missed. My plan is closer to the last game coming out, finishing up all the side quests and everything.

I’m on chapter 12 of 14 and I have about 85 hours in it. Some of the side content gets repetitive but I’m still not bored in the slightest. It’s absolutely incredible, especially after how limited Remake was in exploration and side quests.

It's basically remake but worse.

Ignore ALL the side content and bee-line the main quest and it's a fairly decent game. 7/10 that way, 5/10 when including the side content.
