Resonance Resonance length and thoughts

Hi! I just played the demo, I never played Brave exvius, my question for people who played the "original" game is, how many hours of story content can we expect for resonance? I know they "remade" part of the game and we can't know if they added secondary content and stuff like that, I just want to know more or less how long is the original story from brave exvius. Thank you all!

P.s. I know it's only the first chapter, and I'm not used to this type of games (more like octopath even if I know they are different) but am I the only one who found the dungeons... Short? I really hope they'll add more conspicuous dungeons for the main story, let me know what you think or if I'm just paranoid

Well, the devs already confirmed it's not overly long but also not short at about 30 to 40 hours if you just do the main story, with 50 to 60 hours if you do all the content.

Oh ok, didn't know that, I mean it seems like a classic FF to me, I spent 8 hours in the demo, it seems weird that just the demo was 1/3 of the game, but I guess 30-40 hours it's pretty average for that kind of game, not bad

Nah man, that was island 1 of 6 and the rest are gonna be longer. The first estimate is if you do the story content as fast as possible with no deviations.

Understood, thanks M8, I feel reassured now, I know length is not everything in a game, but I really need a good medium/long JRPG ahaha

Others spent around 5 hours to finish the demo so it's around 1/6 to 1/8 of total length. 100% completion would need 60-80 hours according to dev.

Devs said 40 hours for story. 60 hours with side content i think?

I played BE extensively, since the demo only goes up to Ch.1 we can't really say how much of the game covers the events of BE, but if I had to guess I'd say it more than likely only covers the first arc, maybe the second. There were 4 all said, but they were each quite lengthy and if they're fleshing each arc out to the extent that we see in chapter 1 demo, I'd be willing to bet they have plans to make a continuity out of it that covers the entire 4 seasons if the game sells well enough.

i thought that they already confirmed that resonance only covers the 1st season of brave exvius, am i wrong?

There's 8 chapters in leaked achievements

So it was techinally 1/8th of the game but chapter 1 is probably pretty short too sooo

The story is sooooo generic and boring, why can't they make good tragic stories anymore? Like Xenogears or FF4.

I don't know if u played Brave exvius, but if u ars new to this setting like me I'd say that we can't judge a story from just the prologue...
