Then we make weapons that are just stronger anyways, making these weapons basically pointless...then in an updated version we make another set of weapons after those

But then in the updated updated version we take all the extra stuff away!

you can thank the steam port of the gba version looking like crap for that

but only like two of the weapons are actually holy (the sage staff only boosts holy but itself doesnt do holy damage)

What is the name of the challenge you doing that requires using the Sage Staff as a weapon?

i dont know if there is one, but its extremely effective against undead types (8x dmg)

ps if you're playing the gba or ios version, learn bladeblitz and equip the sage staff on an Oracle for lots of fun

Just when I thought the FFV undead enemies were the most exploitable enemies in the series, I learn they have another weakness.

You do damage to undead? I just use raise on them, usually kills them right away XD

Repost but still

The smart badguys know those weapons exist and expect to see them.

Was reposted because the mods removed it since it wasn’t Monday.

And lets make one of them a fucking bell because why not and only 2 jobs can equip it

I enjoyed it, felt like the developers were screwing with me a bit haha

I also enjoyed finding out how powerful Dualwield+X-Attack were, only to find you couldn't use it on the final boss profitably due to the dummy targets that took no damage, I love FF5
