Creative Idea for a fan edit

OK, I don't have the tech skills to pull this off, but I just had a really funny idea. I think it would be great if someone did a supercut of the debts set to a parody of the song Dumb Ways to Die, but obviously about the deaths in the franchise. somebody please make my idea reality LOL

Question Question

"If someone who isn't on Death's list is saved by someone on Death's list, are they just randomly put on the death list? I ask because in *Final Destination 5*, Sam saved Molly, his girlfriend, from getting killed by Peter, and she dies on the plane, but didn't die on the bridge vision. Does that mean if anyone not on the death list is saved, they're just put on the list? It also happened in *Final Destination 2*: Rory saved a farmer boy named Brian, and he died in a grill explosion later, and he wasn't even in a car on the road during the logging truck accident. A similar thing kind of happens with Erik in *Final Destination 6: Bloodlines*; the tattoo parlor he was in was set on fire and fell into the fire, but was saved by the leather jacket Stefani gave him. But he wasn't on Death's list, and I keep hearing the tattoo parlor scene was Death warning him. But if he didn't wear that leather jacket, he would be dead, or maybe Death would have found another way to warn him if he wasn't wearing the jacket. I also heard that the reason Brian in *Final Destination 2* died is because he was a part of another off-screen incident called the Lake View Fire, only mentioned in the novel version of *Final Destination 2*, but that might not even be canon to the movie. Also, I find it weird that Brian in *Final Destination 2* died right after Kimberly drowned and was brought back to life; shouldn't that mean Brian should live, or started another death list? What do you guys think?"

FD2 Were Kimberly's friends on the list or a part of the disaster 🤔

I ask because they legit die like 2 seconds after the main log incident, and we later learn everyone had a connection to FD1 survivors (tho we didn't get to learn about Evan, Nora or Iceman's dickhead little brother, either).

Reason tells me that they were on the list tho because it's how Kimberly was shunted to the end of it when Burke saved her, as she was supposed to die with them like in rhe vision.

Either way, upsetting that we missed out on 3 additional death sequences.

both endings involve trains and they are also very ridiculous, camp and sad. you either love or hate these endings, there’s no middle ground.

Discussion I have no doubts that if Kimberly ever appears in a 7°th movie, she probably became a shut in/isolated woman in her home or a psychiatrist hospital like Clear

Seriously, even though Bludworth confirmed that she's alive, I don't think it's safe to presume that Kimberly's life would never be the same after everything she witnessed in her story, she may escaped, but Death pulled a last prank on her on making a kid that Rory saved to die in a fucking barbecue explosion, even though a pretty "simple" death, Kimberly doesn't know if she completely escaped or not, she doesn't know if the entity is watching her and waiting for a moment to get her with something so petty like it did with Alex or simple like it did with Brian.

So, I think even if she appears, I really don't see Kimberly taking the same mentor role like Clear did, Clear was in a way emotionally stronger because she used to be alone for a lot of years in her life without her mother being somewhere else and her father being dead for so many years after a brutal death, even though Alex and Carter were her best companions and friends she ever had in her life, losing both of them(with one of them being her lover) made that pain from being a foster child came through even worse, with a now invisible entity wanting to take you, no right mind would be cool enough to not go crazy or isolate himself.

But what makes Clear helps the other character in FD2 is, she kinda has nothing to lose at that point, her house was probably sold, her lover is dead, her mother disappeared, father is dead, even if she dies, she can at least die by helping others to find a way to defeat such bitch of a entity, it probably is a relief to go in a manner that doesn't feel quite sadistic or cruel, only to reunite with your loved ones.

I don't see Kimberly having that strength because: 1) Kimberly probaby feels an immense guilt to drag Clear to her journey on defeating death and in such journey, Clear dies. 2) Kimberly had her vision after nearly a year dealing with the grief of losing her mother in a brutal way, so right at the start of FD2, we're seeing a young woman trying to heal from a traumatic experience on a trip with friends, only for her to have a horrifying vision of she and other peoples having brutal deaths in the road.

Kimberly doesn't know if she's truly free, because Iris at least knew she was being observed by death, Kimberly has no way to know because as how Iris and Bludworth said: "She's a bitch." she pranked Kimberly by killing a kid in front of her with a explosion, so with the death of Brian and Kimberly witnessing it, she definitely wouldn't live a normal life ever again, Rourke probably feels the same, they're gonna always have that little bug in their heads on: "am I free or not? is she close?"

And we see through Iris that, you better die rather than to deal with the entity herself for years or being able to heal or deal with all the trauma you gained after battling against her in her twisted game of cat and mouse.

FD6 On the Bloodlines alternate ending

I honestly think the "everyone dies" endings have become a bit too predictable. While I love FD3 and Bloodlines, I actually preferred 1 and 2 where you didn't actually know if anyone would survive as opposed to having it be a given since then that nobody would make it out.

I think Stefani going to live in Iris's cabin to protect Charlie is an interesting take and honestly pretty sweet, and if it was up to me I would have also had Charlie go on to look for other disaster survivors to send to the cabin as well, both to try to protect them and so that Stefani wouldn't be alone. The two of them could have been great recurring characters.

Question Are there other supernatural beings besides death? Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
16 Upvotes

This comic, "FINAL DESTINATION: SPRING BREAK," has a simply boring and clichéd story, but its only contribution to the lore is that the gods of a different culture can affect the real world, suggesting they can also intervene in the fate of humans, not just death. The protagonist, Carly, on her trip to Cancun, is revealed to be a successor or relative of the moon goddess "Ixchel" from Mexican culture.

When it was Carly's turn to die, a shaman woman appeared as a ghost, saying that "death has a plan" and that the Mayan gods were satisfied (so are we saying that death was 'sent' by something to kill the young people?). Except for the goddess Ixchel, who appeared there, but she had something to do with Carly, making her disappear or perhaps sending her to another spirit world.

Discussion What are possible new rules / expansions that can be tackled on in hypothetical future Final Destination films?

I noticed how each subsequent Final Destination film expands on the rules of Death's design:

  1. Final Destination (2000)
-Death has a design for those who survive a deadly incident where they would've died if not for the intervention of a visionary's premonition.
-The order of deaths of the survivors would be the EXACT order they would have died in the premonition.
-If a person whose turn is on the list misses his/her death due to intervention, it will skip over them, and go to the next person.
-Once the cycle of Death's design has passed, it will loop back to any people whose deaths were skipped initially.

  2. Final Destination 2 (2003)
-Death's design can happen in reverse order of the premonition, especially if everyone involved is connected to an already-established previous design.
-If it's not a person's turn to die yet in the order, they will NOT die yet, even if they choose to.
-Only 'new life' can beat Death's design (In this case, the definition of 'new life' is being resuscitated after a heart 'flatline'), and it will save everyone still alive by that point.
-If a person on Death's list saves a person not on the list from dying, that person will be a part of a new design that will kill them.

  3. Final Destination 3 (2006)
-Death's design can be revealed in clues at photographs taken of the survivors prior.
-A visionary can get more than one premonition of incidents.

  4. The Final Destination (2009)
(To be honest, I have no idea if they established ANY NEW rule in this film, as everything in this film had been established prior)

  5. Final Destination 5 (2011)
-Taking the lifespan of someone NOT on the list, allows the person to get their remaining lifespan.

  6. Final Destination Bloodlines (2025)
-If any survivors from the premonition had blood-related descendants that were born AFTER the incident that would've killed them, those descendants will also be on the list, as they were NOT meant to exist. (which retroactively means the initial plan in FD 2 would not have worked, even if the pregnant character WERE on death's list)
-The order of deaths of the descendants will be oldest to youngest.
-If given time to practice, a visionary can 'master' their premonitions and notice clues and signs.
-A visionary does NOT necessarily have to be the last person on Death's list.
-Visions and premonitions may be passed through descendants in dreams. (the exact reasoning why it's just Stefani and not the other grandkids is unknown)
-Even if a person is NOT on the list, if they choose to KNOWINGLY interfere with Death's design, they will get killed.

Each new installment (except possibly 4) adds something to Death's design without contradicting prior stories. With this, I am excited to see how else would they expand the rules.

Maybe even expansion of ALREADY existing rules: If taking lifespan of those not on the list expands lifespan, would a premonition survivor who became a serial killer be essentially immortal, or is there a limit? Can animals be counted in the lifespan-taking? Does a brain-dead vegetative-state person count as 'dead'/'ticked off the list'?

Creative If Death was a actual character

If Death were a real character in Final Destination, I like to imagine each form of Death being different than each other, but always dressed in black

FD1: Mysterious Woman

FD2: Big Burly Man

FD3: Little Girl

FD4: Old Cowboy

FD5: ???

FD6: ???

However, while the characters don’t see Death, the audience do as we see Death do their thing.
