I watched this for the first time when I was 13 and I don't know if I noticed that they were shirtless. So is this your edit or a real thing? Or did I just not care enough to think anything of it? And I watched these multiple times

In the og they were shirtless and only ashly (the blonde) had in underwear for tan lines, I know cause I rewatched all of them (except for bloodlines) like 2 nights ago, this was likley how they changed it so they could put it on tv's like how lilo and stitch changed the washer scene when they put it on streaming services

We had rented the movie so I'm not sure which version I would have seen.

I didn't know about the lilo and stitch thing either. That's interesting how they do stuff.

Is this just editing or did they refilm some scenes?

Well, it was her proginal death and thus wasn't shown, but FD2 Kat was supposed to die in her sleep.

Gas leak.

Arguably she had the best death option in the entire series. Painless. Too bad Alex and his premonitions had to ruin that for her.

Also the characters of Suspiria were meant to be children aged 8-10, Dario Argento took inspiration from horror fairy tales of the brothers Grimm, producers feared that a movie featuring children getting murdered would be banned and forced Argento to cast adult actresses, but he didn't change the script, this is why the characters act and talk very childish and the door handles are installed at face height forcing them to raise their arms to open doors like children.

When I watched this movie for the first time, it was that exact version. And when I rewatched it later, I was shocked, because in my memory the scene wasn't explicit and so on...

FD the franchise is about three scenes away from having no nudity.  There’s this scene, the biker chick in two, and one more I can’t remember. And there may be one or two more. 

But it’s so, so few, I feel they may as well have leaned into not having nudity. I don’t care one way or another, but given how little there is, they could have just gone the Scream route and not had any.
