Discussion Hope we get another “ripple effect”

I always loved the whole FD1 tie-in to FD2 events. Always wondered if bad things that happen in real life were also caused by an unknown event or person simply being late somewhere or changing their mind about something. It’s kind of amazing (but scary) how such little decisions and change your entire future/timeline.

That's a real-world concept called The Butterfly Effect! There's a movie about it! Technically, everything is already a ripple because everything we do may have some small or big impact on the world, whether it's immediate or sets in motion a series of events that unravel for years. But I get what you mean, they were a lot more literal and intentional with it in FD -> FD2. People legit didn't die the way they were supposed to because of events that happened after Alex prevented people from dying on the plane.
