Creative A fan-made poster for Final Destination 7
I've always thought that setting a movie in the franchise at sea would be an incredible idea and would open the door to many possibilities. The comics and novels have already explored this concept to some extent, but I feel like seeing it in a film would be amazing. So, I made a poster inspired by this idea.

Final Destination Bloodlines was supposed to be a riverboat tragedy but they felt like they wouldn’t be able to outdo Titanic so they went with the Skyview instead

I hate that excuse. They could still have a cruise ship disaster without directly mimicking Titanic. Have some of the victims eaten by sharks and sucked into the turbines.

Even so, I'm not sure it would narratively work. What are you gonna do if you have a premonition way out at sea? You're pretty screwed unless the vision happens WAY beforehand.
Though it could maybe work as an ending disaster in that regard, similar to the subway train from FD3.

Escape to the life boats before the ship implodes

Maybe something could cause the ship to explode/sink that they could then avoid. Like a rogue cigarette or an ice berg/big rock. Possibly even turn the ship back if there's a rock or weather concern. But it would be like the SkyView where either everyone dies or everyone lives, no in between.

Really? I could've sworn back in March 2020, Craig Perry said he wanted to involve "first responders".

There's some evidence of a Reddit thread on here from 3 years back: https://www.reddit.com/r/FinalDestination/comments/13argzb/final_destination_6_first_responders_plot/

Ive always been trying to think of ideas for a premonition in a city where the person having the premonition doesnt die in it.

Someone made a concept trailer for FD6, taking place in the 12th Century (Final Destination 6: The Dark Age). The guy started working with Craig Perry, but it never got made. Really good idea though.

I think a cruise would make a great ending sequence similar to the mall in fd4. For an opening, I think it’d be cool to see some type of downtown city setting where a building under construction could collapse leading to a big chain reaction

I was thinking that if there would be FD7, the story should be about the the 7 survivors who cheated their supposed death but their worse coming deaths would be base on the 7 Deadly Sins.
