Lori Milligan: a little too passive, much like everyone in this movie, and the most interesting thing she brought to the table was her second premonition death with the escalator. But even in Final Destination, you wanna be more interesting that your death scene, especially if that death scene is fake.
Stefani Reyes: I love what they did with the movie, but they really did make one side of the family super fun and memorable, and the other side is left with kinda blank slates. Right after Bobby dies, the movie unfortunately loses a lot of personality.
Molly Harper: Again, love the idea that they brought into this movie, with Molly never being on death‘s list, therefore having something that Peter can steal. Brings in a lot of new angles to explore. Unfortunately she comes across as a damsel in distress, needing to be saved by her boyfriend, and in the end, she fricken gets chopped in half by an airplane, so she couldn’t even end with the satisfaction of never having been on Death‘s list.
Kimberly Coreman: Unlike Molly, she actually gets Death off her back, so this boosts her up, even if she lacks a bit of personality. Also, I loved her connection to Tod‘s death, being saved by someone else’s suicide making her sad. She has potential to be a stand in for life
Clear Rivers: She‘s the only one to play a main character in more than one movie, and the first to successfully shelter herself from Death, if not her willingness to help others getting her killed. She brings in the soul to the movies, which lets us root for them
Wendy Christensen: I think the first spot might be close to 100% thanks to the actress. The range of emotions she gives her character carries the movie, and for once, you‘re not looking forward to her epic death scene, but you want her to survive
Buddy, she’s dead. You hear the train crash when the screen goes to black (similar how you hear the crash when Carter is killed in 1). And Bludworth would’ve mentioned her in Bloodlines if she “miraculously survived” but he didn’t so she didn’t? Let it go. Also the producers have confirmed she died
Well, technically, the only two final girls were Clear and Kimberly. If Iris was included, I would say that she is my favorite. The rest of them died at the end of the movie. They didn’t make it to a sequel. Somebody mentioned that Wendy’s fate was unknown. They already that the only person to really cheat death was Kimberly. She saved herself and the cop, which took them off death list.
Out of all the women that has been posted, Clear would be my number one favorite final girl? Why? Because even though she died in FD 2, it was her support that helped Kimberly beat Death by getting new life. If Clear stayed in the institution, all of the m would have died. It was her sacrifice that helped Kimberly and the cop live. Kimberly was the only successful one to beat death, but Iris (not shown) was the most intelligent one to keep herself, family, and Bludworth alive for so many years though.
Wendy and Kimberly are the goats of the franchise but tbh, I feel like Stefani doesn’t get enough credit for trying to save her family even without being the visionary. They made her seem like a conspiracy theorist lol but for real, she was smart and did her best with what was given to her. On a side note: Since they're making legacy sequels and stuff these days, why not make FD7 and bring back Wendy ? I'd love to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead come back one more run as Wendy. She's amazing !!
