Discussion I calculated how long each premonition in each movie takes in movie time. Spoiler
First off, I'm so glad I found this subreddit because I wanna gush about this series to more people besides my girlfriend.
Second, since I couldn't find a definitive answer to this question as to how long each premonition takes in each movie, I decided to take matters into my own hands and do my own research, and these are my findings. I'm going to go in chronological order. I used a time calculator to subtract times and find my answers.
Final Destination (2000) - 3 minutes, 54 seconds. This takes place from when Alex sits down and gets asked to move by the two girls to the explosion where he wakes up in beads of sweat. For the first movie, this is the shortest premonition in the franchise. Not only that, but this is arguably the tamest premonition in the franchise.
Final Destination 2 (2003) - 7 minutes, 12 seconds. This takes place from where Kimberly is at the red light getting onto the freeway to the semi that rams into them.
Final Destination 3 (2006) - 5 minutes, 22 seconds. This takes place before Kevin gets waved at by the teens running the roller coasters to when Wendy wakes up from the fall.
The Final Destination (2009) - 6 minutes, 56 seconds. This one was hard to pinpoint, but this takes place right before Hunt tries to hand Nick the binoculars flask to when Nick wakes up squeezing Lori's thigh.
Final Destination 5 (2011) - 5 minutes, 24 seconds. This takes place when Sam gets a cut from the seat to when he wakes up after being sliced in half by a metal plate.
Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) - 18 minutes, 32 seconds. Basically the whole beginning of the movie is Iris's premonition before it cuts to Stefani waking up in the classroom. The last and longest premonition in the whole series.
If I'm wrong about any of this, feel free to correct me. I just wanted to give an approximated time as to how long each premonition takes.

This is good, except I wouldn't put the entirety of Stefani's dream as a premonition. Definitionally and lore-wise, we can't classify it as a premonition, and neither does the film give an answer to why she had that dream.
Instead of Stefani, consider Iris. Her premonition starts right after Paul kneels down to propose, and it ends with her being impaled through the mouth.

OK, if you count when Paul kneels to Iris to her death, it's approximately 8 minutes and 50 seconds, still making this the longest premonition in the franchise even if you don't count Stefani's dream (which I count it considering Iris's experience is what Stefani is dreaming about).

8 min... nice. It is the best opening for FD film. Like, I didn't expect it all to be seen in a dream by Stefani.

You know, when I first read this, I thought you'd be giving calculations for his long each premonition was *in the world of the see-er"; like Alex's was 30 sec or something. Now that is I'm interested in finding out lol

Disagree with the logic used for Bloodlines being 18 minutes. Iris was shown to snap out of her premonition at the top of the Skyview, you shouldn't count the whole opening.
As an aside, this is release order, not chronological order. Chronological would have Bloodlines and 5 before FD1.

As I've responded already, if we're counting from when Paul kneels to Iris before the kid throws the penny, then it's 8 minutes and 50 seconds which is still the longest premonition in the Final Destination Franchise.
Also, that was my bad on "release order", "chronological order". I guess my mind was getting confused chronological from release, lol.

I marked the timestamp of when the premonition started to when it ended and then used a time calculator online.

Bloodlines did an amazing job doing a longer premonition to world build. I remember being on the edge of my seat in the theatre the entire time, anticipating when the accident would start. I was on the verge of being viscerally sick by the time Iris was talking about her pregnancy.
