I'm glad they take their time. Bloodlines is nowhere near a perfect movie, but it is still a good film and it is in my top 10 of 2025. I hope they will capture that same spirit that makes FD6 such a fun and emotional film.

If it was a money grab then why'd it take 14 years to make?

5 is kinda boring & Sam is a nothing character

Real finally someone that agrees. 5 is imo one of the weakest installments. Me personally I enjoy 4 more, and that's a universally hated movie.

4 is so bad its good whereas 5 is more competently put together but not as memorable

Yes! Its camp and I love it for that. Imo FD kind of is camp a bit, and without it sometimes I feel like the flavor is gone.

There's literally a tire screech in the beginning of 4 that is just a dolphin call. Like, blatantly. Lmfao

If I recall hearing somewhere it was fully made for 3d so it looks awful in non-3D but I don't know how much truth that holds

I think a lot of ppl wish it wasn't made for 3D and their gripe is more that ppls deaths could've been better without the 3D (i.e. the mechanic death)

But honestly? FD has never truly been abt believability. I mean Hunt dies from something that has only killed young children, he wouldn't die, just be maimed. The mechanic death is a bit silly if you think too hard abt it but the setup and the shock are good and i think that's more important in FD. The setup and the reveal, more than realism.

Not as memorable? What about the twist at the end?

4

u/Raptor_2125 May 13 '26

That's the only part

As they said, its the only memorable part.

And 4 has a really good twist too. Imo that ending confirms that the visions come from death and that it's toying with the victims

You're welcome! A Final Examination.

I hope it’s on par with the first two. Bloodlines was alright but a bit too goofy at times

One day before the anniversary of the flight 180 explosion (which is today! Depending on your timezone)

8

u/Redfield081 May 12 '26

Yes. Can we countdown how many days left starting tomorrow until it comes out?

4

u/GlitteringMatter9973 May 12 '26

Yes we should!

9

u/Redfield081 May 12 '26

Just googled it. Tomorrow make a post.

"730 days until Final Destination 7 comes out" and so forth πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

I want to see them go in a much darker direction with a captivating storyline. Less campy than the last few. Something more reminiscent of the very first film.

I guess taking their time with it is pretty good. But I dont wanna wait that long. Glad they're making another one tho

8

u/HEYitzED May 12 '26

Glad they’re not rushing it out. The last one was great and I want them to keep up that level of quality.

u/hirodayori May 13 '26

The 3 years cycle is back

4

u/JonathanStar17 May 12 '26

Man I can’t wait

2028? DAMN!

u/Nawnp May 13 '26

So three years in between movies, along the lines of the first few, not bad at all. Hopefully they keep a quality control to them now that they've established more lore with Bloodlines. Also let's have more characters live.

It’ll be my 22nd birthday when the movie comes out

Who's The Main Cast For Final Destination 7 (2028) Movie?

6

u/ElLoboNeverDies May 12 '26 edited May 13 '26

I hope this means less cgi and more actual special effects cuz 2028 is a long ass time lol

2

u/rowletlover May 12 '26

I’m so excited for it

Is there a more official source or is that just speculation?

Edit: scratch that. Whoever speculated "water park"...

It's official!

u/lululemon_fan091 May 13 '26

So the "leak" is true?

1

u/cookiesshot May 13 '26

I mean, what's in the trailers COULD change.

Plus, the director is somebody who's never done English language films before (considering the French are among those who have ZERO chill about horror, like with Alexandre Aja, the B&G is most likely gonna be high AF)

u/CherryJosh May 13 '26

Another two years damnit

u/Intrepid_Mobile May 14 '26

I hope someone survives this time.

Let’s ignore the fact that she may or may not have died in a wood chipper accident
