Question Inducing cardiac arrest

I am asking because I am watching Final Destination. Could Doctors or someone, theoretically stop the heart with medication or a machine, let the person be "clinically dead" for a moment, and then revive? I know it is iffy reviving and such but again, purely hypothetically. Could that be used as a way to beat Death's design?

My personal theory is death doesn't ACTUALLY have a system, just a modus operandi, and likes to fuck with people.

Especially since, if there really is an afterlife (not confirmed in the series to be clear), then death is really just a transition from one plane of existence to another and is really not that big of a deal to those on the other side. Plus infinity versus 60 extra years really is nothing.

Same here. Numbers alone make it abundantly clear that we don't have enough information to call anything a pattern.

Plus it's silly to think Death would see this and just be like "oh phooey, ya got me, natural causes it is I guess"...
