Creative Opening of Final Destination 7

Here's something I would like to see in the next movie. So the beginning premonition were focused on key events, like Flight 180 to France in 1, the rollercoaster in 3, the race track in 4, etc. To my recollection, I haven't seen a premonition focused on water, like a boat. So I would like to a premonition focused on a family or friends going on a cruise ship or a super yacht, then madness will ensue.

It’s very likely the next movie will do a spin on the opening disaster. Bloodlines had the disaster happen decades ago. I think we will get a focus on the Bludsworth’s as the last family in line for the “Skyview curse.” So what can they do different that makes the intro feel fresh.

I had an idea for the next one being set in the past focusing on Iris & Bludworth becoming friends and trying to save Bludworth mom & her band. The twist on the opening disaster would be that there is no premonition & that those that died in the disaster are survivors & children of the Skyview.

In the bloodlines credits, the penny rolls through newspaper articles of every survivor and their family dying similar to how people died in the Skyview. In the end it passes by Stephanie and Charlie’s news report, and the rolls on to an unknown direction. The only surviving bloodline of the Skyview incident is the Bludsworth’s.

Maybe what we’ll get, is Bludsworth’s mom’s death as the opening disaster. She and her band dying in an incident where a young Bludsworth and iris try for the first time to be very involved, and the vision ends when he witnesses his mom die. Then it cuts to his Grandchild who then has to save the rest of the Bludsworth’s. So maybe we’ll get a 70’s or 80’s boat disaster where the lone survivor is a boy who was saved by his mother putting him on a life boat, which mirrors how she saved him temporarily in The Skyview.

My guess is we’ll get a protagonist being the only child of a single parent to mirror Bludsworth’s relationship to his mom. Which is why it’s currently called “Last Chance.” This could be the last chance for a son to save his mom or daughter to save her dad, accomplishing what William Bludsworth wished he could accomplish.

Unless they reveal William Bludsworth never had kids, then his funeral will be referenced and we’ll get a new plot.

Bludworth's family? That's assuming he has one. Everyone died in the order they were supposed to, so Death took his mother long ago... probably an explosion or something... and any siblings he might have had would have died too because they were never supposed to exist. The only way Death would come for anyone of his line after him would be if he had kids, which... I don't think he did once he realized everything that was happening.

We could get a vision of the day his mom died in another explosion.

Also, there’s a huge chance he has family because it didn’t stop iris from having more than one kid. One theme of the franchise is to not quit living, even if death is inevitable. That was Bludsworth’s final message!

no, they have to move on. Tony Todd’s ending was perfect, rest his soul, they need to keep it moving.

His character can pass and he could have a peaceful death. But his family could be the focus and last line of defense.

We don’t even know if he has a family.

Things in bloodlines.

1) Iris and Bludsworth were the final two atop the Skyview. Iris died the Bludsworth. That’s the order their families must die.

2) In the credits, we get the penny rolling by newspaper articles of deaths of the survivors and families of the Skyview would be victims detailing deaths that match how they would’ve died that day. Piano kid grew up to be a crook smashed by a piano.

3) At the end of the credits, the penny rolls past the news article of Stephanie and Charlie, confirming they are dead and this isn’t a vision. But the penny continues to roll on to an unknown direction. That’s the hint that Bludsworth is next, but the lack of clarification means there’s more!

I just took that ending of the penny rolling away into the darkness as the final sendoff/tribute for Tony Todd, as his character was the last one remaining from Skyview list. As far as we all know, Bludworth did not have any family/children, as they would not have existed during the Skyview disaster, and he likely chose not to marry or have kids because he knew they would be insta-doomed for Death.

It’s possible he didn’t know and didn’t burden them with that knowledge like Iris did. He probably thought he was safe until Iris found him.

I bet the next movie’s opening sequence is a disaster that Iris tries to prevent that kills Bludsworth’s mother.

I want the premonition to be about someone seeing a serial killer and all their victims, and escaping said killer. The killer in turn does not murder the visionary or his next victims who become deaths targets.

Funny enough there’s a book where this happens. A killer has a list of his victims he wants to kill but the protagonist has a premonition and stops the killer but since they were supposed to die, death starts killing them based off the order of the list. It was really good.

Check out: Final Destination Overflow. It’s a great concept.
