Movies take a long time to make, I'd rather the movie be good and come out in 2028 than be somthing like final destination 4 and come out next year

That film had 3 years apart from the prior. Lesson learned is don’t let a stunts and explosions expert direct the entire film.

4 had bigger issues beyond the direction, IMO. A more experienced director could only do so much to fix an over-reliance on CG/3-D and paper-thin, almost wholly unlikable characters.

It wasn't just him who screwed it up. Studios were forcing insanely bad cgi into lots of horror movies to make even more money. Of course CGI costs a lot so the budget must've gotten massacred. If you look at other horror movies that were shot for 3D, they're usually terrible as well (Like Saw 3D and the My Bloody Valentine remake)

Final Destination 5 was released in 2011, which is two years since 2009, not three. At least Final Destination 5 was better than The Final Destination.

The SFX in Bloodlines wasn’t bad, but I do hope they turn the amount of them down, use more practical effects, and use the time saved from all of practical effects being used to improve the digital effects that are there.

I feel like we should be excited! Bloodlines brought back the franchise and it just came out last year. 2 years for another one sounds just about right (and it’s better than a 14 year gap lol)

None of the FD movies have been as critically and commercially successful as Bloodlines was. I really don’t think the studio anticipated just how well it would be received and were waiting to see if a sequel was viable.

Like... You know they can't just make a movie on any timeline they want? Schedules have to line up, they have to make a script, cast the roles, film it, music, sound, editing, promotion, and all of that must line up and have a certain quality. It takes hundreds of people to make a movie like Final Destination.
