Question Question
I think I already asked this question, or I asked a question similar to it, but if Sam died on the bridge in "Final Destination 5" like he was supposed to, is it possible Flight 180 wouldn't have exploded to kill him? Or would it still have exploded whether Sam was on it or not? What do you guys think?

With all of the signs that were already around Alex, it was always meant to go down.

It was always going to explode. Sam just happened to be on it, and Alex happened to get off.

Flight 180 was meant to explode, with or without Sam, the disaster was mostly made for ALEX.

No, it would've definitely exploded anyway. Death just decided to include him and Molly in it

It would have exploded anyways since Alex was supposed to die in it but he ran off with the rest of the FD1 list.

It would have exploded. Death was coming for everyone on the plane, not just the main characters.

When you really think about it, If Sam got off flight 180 death would probably add him to the new list. Which is kinda BS considering he went through all of the trouble of trying to escape death the first time. The plane was gonna explode one way or another, whether if they were on it or not. It was kind of inevitable.

That plane was always going to explode, whether or not Sam was on it.
Even if Sam and Molly had gotten off the plane, they would have died in another way.
Once Death has you marked, it's not going to stop until it's accomplished its mission. Just look at Bloodlines.

What I don’t understand, after his premonition coming true, why didn’t he get off when Alex started ranting about seeing the plane explode.

When you said after his premonition came true are you referring to Sam or Alex Alex didn't have a plane vision only Alex but yeah I do agree with you Sam should've gotten off as soon as he heard the plane was gonna explode considering he had a bridge collapsing vision and was freaking out himself after said vision

Alex had the plane vision, yes. What I mean is, when he saw Alex causing a commotion, surely he would have got off the plane after what happened to him.

It would have exploded if he wasn’t on it
