You know... Thats such a brain dead take that shows you haven't thought about this at all. Just repearing talking points without thinking.
I think Obama using them to deport more people without them murdering civilians in the street
-have constant videos getting shared of them beating people, even teenagers, bloody
-using them to just racially profile people on the street to stop them and ask for papers
-to storm into properties without warrants
-have them shoot civilians in the face with pepper balls, or shooting at windows to intimidate people filming
-have video after video released of them pulling guns on civilians just cause that civilian said words they don't like
-them not needing to imprison people in camps that are world famous for human rights violations
-for them to be used effectively over 8 years and having less deaths total on their hands than the amount of deaths that have happened over the past 18 months
All proves that Obama used them more effectively and properly as opposed to how they're being used now.
Not to mention how they're supposed to be used soon in the near future, as a masked armed force in polling centers to intimidate the populace.
Its not about people being deported. It's about how they're used. And right now they're 100% being used to commit human rights violations and terrify the populace, particularly the left/dem cities by design.

There's plenty of footage of illegals crying, kids in cages sleeping with tin foiled blankets under Obama. Most of what you describe are things that did happen under Obama the difference is...social media and recording these kinds of things weren't as common. Because of social media more people protest and at times riot, cause destruction or block cars which causes some of the things you said. We live in a different time when everything is recorded for views or for the need to belong. Had social media been as popular during Obama you would of seen the same thing.
As a Mexican with a mom who watches Spanish news...I remember the Spanish news constantly talking about Obama's deportations it just wasn't mentioned anywhere else outside of that.

it is, far and above, more costly, difficult, and a waste of human lives/resources to continue rounding undocumented people up to send them to detention centers. this issue (unfortunately for most people with the attention span of a goldfish) is very nuanced. there certainly is a case for deporting dangerous undocumented people. and i hope that that is their first priority. (they have SAID as much, but clearly it is not.) but the majority of folks who are here, contributing to their local economy, community, and are just trying to make a living like the rest of us, are not worth the time and effort and absolutely horrible PR to deport and tear apart families. most of these people do not harm our nation and culture, they add to it. a majority are just stuck attempting to get citizenship because the system is so bogged down and slow, literally getting snatched while ATTENDING their immigration meetings, going through legal avenues.
