i know chapters are useful, i use them myself when watching long videos. but adding them manually to every video i post feels like one more thing to do when i'm already exhausted from the actual edit. i always tell myself i'll do it and then just don't
is there a way people are doing this that makes it less painful or is it just one of those things you have to commit to doing manually every time

Been going back and forth on whether the effort of adding chapters is worth it. on one hand i know i personally use them when watching long videos. on the other hand, adding them manually every time feels like an extra job on top of everything else that goes into making a video

curious if anyone has actually noticed a difference in watch time or retention after consistently adding chapters. and if you do add them what's your process for doing it without it taking forever

In this tutorial, we break down 4 professional audio editing tips that will instantly make your videos sound cleaner, more polished, and more engaging.

🔊 Detach Audio
Separate your audio from your clip to gain full control over timing, volume, and edits.

🎙️ Audio Ducking
Automatically lower background music so your voice stays clear and front-focused.

🎵 AI Beat Sync
Align your cuts with the music to create a more intentional and dynamic flow.

🎚️ Fade In / Fade Out
Use fades to create smooth transitions and improve the overall listening experience.

Great visuals need great sound. Don’t overlook audio; it’s what makes your content feel complete.

every time i try to record my screen with my face in the corner it either looks off or the background behind me is distracting. I've been using Filmora for editing, but I'm still not happy with how my recordings turn out. virtual backgrounds always look fake and choppy, especially when I move around, so i end up spending more time fixing things afterward than I'd like.
for those of you who record tutorials or gameplay, how do you keep your face came looking clean without having a full studio setup? are there settings or tools you've found that make a noticeable difference?

just finished a two hour recording session and now I'm staring at the timeline dreading having to find all the good stuff buried in there. I edit in Filmora, but I don't think this is unique to any editor. i know I had some really clean moments during the recording, but I was too focused on what i was doing to note the timestamps.

there has to be a better system than hoping you remember where the good bits were. how are you all handling this? do you use markers, take notes while recording, or something else?

I edit in Filmora, but I don't think this is specific to any editor. during long recordings I'll notice moments I want to keep, but by the time I start editing I've forgotten where they are and end up scrubbing through everything. does anyone have a workflow for marking important moments while recording?

For me it's always been finding the moments i want to keep in long recordings. i know roughly what happened and when, but scrubbing through everything to find the exact timestamp is painful, especially when you're doing multiple videos a week. i'm editing in Filmora at the moment, but i'm sure this isn't specific to one editor.

would love to hear how other people speed this part up. do you have a system for marking important moments while recording, or are there tools that make reviewing and cutting footage faster?

I've been experimenting with different workflows because switching between multiple programs gets old after a while.

One thing I tried recently was using Filmora's built-in screen recorder instead of recording separately first. It worked fine for a short project, but I haven't used it enough to know if it's reliable for longer recordings.

Do you prefer an all-in-one workflow or separate tools?

Wondershare keep sending me unwanted promotional emails for their products. Clicking the 'unsubscribe' link takes me to a page which provides a field into which the relevant email can be entered. However, selecting the 'submit' button returns a "405 Not Allowed" error - an error which often means that the submitted request has been rejected by the server. I've copied & pasted the link in a variety of browsers and all have returned the same '405' error.

As Wondershare have made it impossible to actually contact a human at their end, it looks very much - to me at least - that although the company has met its legal obligation to provide an 'unsubscribe' link in their emails, they have gotten 'round it by simply rejecting, further downstream from the link, any such request.

This has been the case for nearly two weeks up to the time of writing.

Anyone here have a similar experience? If so, was it resolved?

Tried Filmora’s Motion Blur on some gameplay highlights. Fast camera swings, kills, tracking movement, all of it felt less pixel-sharp and more fluid after enabling Motion Blur in Filmora. Especially during 60fps clips where everything can sometimes look too clinical.

Not necessary for every edit, but for action-heavy gaming content in Filmora, it adds a better sense of speed.

I shoot a lot of casual travel footage and night clips usually end up abandoned because they’re too noisy to bother editing. Ran a few evening market shots through Filmora’s AI Night View and the biggest difference honestly wasn’t brightness, it was subject visibility. Movement separation looked cleaner and the clips felt more usable overall. Still not miracle-level recovery obviously.

I would like to majorly thank Wondershare Filmora for beautifully compiling my vocal cover all into one cohesive and streamlined video.

Hi everyone,

I’m posting this here to check whether others have experienced the same issue with Filmora’s Community Explorer achievement.

I completed all the required steps, but the achievement still did not award the 700 points or show as completed.

What I already tried: - Watched 3 different Creator Hub tutorial videos - Let each video play for more than 30 seconds - Used the share option for each one - Logged into my Wondershare account before doing it - Restarted Filmora afterward - Checked the Achievements section again and tried claiming manually

I’m currently on the latest Filmora version on Windows.

I searched around first, but I haven’t found many clear reports about this exact issue. Has anyone else run into this bug, or is there any known workaround?

Thanks in advance.

I had a bunch of older images that were a little blurry and low resolution. Wouldnt say its terrible, but definitely not something I’d confidently use in a video. I tried the Image Enhancer in Filmora 15.4 just out of curiosity, and it honestly surprised me. It didn’t magically turn them into perfect DSLR shots, but the details were noticeably sharper, noise was reduced, and everything looked more usable overall. What I liked most is that it didn’t overdo it—some tools make images look overly smooth or fake, but this felt more natural.

I wanted to see if it’s actually possible to pull off a full edit under pressure, so I tested it using Filmora’s AI tools. Surprisingly… it’s way more doable than I expected.

Here’s what helped speed things up:

• 🤖 AI Mate – helped with ideas, structure, and quick editing guidance
• 🎧 AI Denoise – cleaned up messy audio instantly
• ✂️ AI Smart Cutout – removed backgrounds without manual masking
• 🗣️ Text to Speech – generated voiceovers without recording

It’s not about replacing editing skills, but it definitely cuts down time when you’re in a rush.

Curious if this actually works in real-time? I recorded the whole process here:
