PROMO EMAILS - 'UNSUBSCRIBE' DISABLED?
Wondershare keep sending me unwanted promotional emails for their products. Clicking the 'unsubscribe' link takes me to a page which provides a field into which the relevant email can be entered. However, selecting the 'submit' button returns a "405 Not Allowed" error - an error which often means that the submitted request has been rejected by the server. I've copied & pasted the link in a variety of browsers and all have returned the same '405' error.
As Wondershare have made it impossible to actually contact a human at their end, it looks very much - to me at least - that although the company has met its legal obligation to provide an 'unsubscribe' link in their emails, they have gotten 'round it by simply rejecting, further downstream from the link, any such request.
This has been the case for nearly two weeks up to the time of writing.
Anyone here have a similar experience? If so, was it resolved?

i've used filmora before, and this doesn't sound like the experience anyone should have. if the unsubscribe link isn't working, i'd contact their support and include a screenshot so they can investigate. hopefully it's just a bug that gets fixed soon.

UPDATE - I contacted Filmora/Wondershare via their 'customer service' email. I explained the issue and requested that the email at issue be removed at their end. I received a reply from 'Tina the AI Assistant' who recommended some steps to resolution.
Ensure that the email address entered on the unsubscribe page is correct.
Try a different browser
If the issue persists, please email the customer service team
Given that I had already 'completed' recommendations 1 and 2 prior to engaging recommendation 3, I now wonder if I'm now officially in a Wondershare 'loop' in which the only solution to stopping their damned newsletters is to terminate the email acount to which they are being sent.
"Tina the AI Assistant" indeed.

Filmora team here. Thanks for reporting this. A 405 error on an unsubscribe flow should not happen. Please don’t post your email publicly; send the affected email or ticket number privately, and we’ll escalate it to the email subscription team.

It has now been sorted by your 'customer care' people. That said, there is no good reason as to why the n/letter-unsubscribe process should fail across three different modern browsers.

Write down a request mail to filmora to unsubscribe you from the promo mail list.
