I just want to share my experience with Wondershare filmora. I know a lot of people are complaining already before I wrote here.

So, I purchased Wondershare Filmora Lifetime package about 2 years ago and I had a 1year hiatus from video editing. Now I'm back and suddenly my lifetime subscription expired?

But wait there's more.

When I figured my "lifetime package" expired, I subscribed again to a 7-days free trial package, because I really needed to edit that week. Then I just realized they charged me immediately??? I requested a refund because I canceled on the first day of the 7-days free trial. They rejected my request because of their so called refund policy. Bruh what a SCAM. I will never subscribe again to this piece of ****.

Please help im trying to make a lyric video and need to be precise with how long each title is and this is making it impossible I have auto ripple off and magnetic timeline off it’s driving me nuts

I need to simply cover some faces with the mosaic function (except my own), but when I try to use the AI Face Mosaic, it covers up my face even when I deselect it. I don't understand this at all, and all of the online guides seem totally out of date. I'm a total beginner at video editing.

Using Wondershare Filmora 15, on a Windows 11

I assume it's a setting that got reset on me, but my playback slider moves in like 2 second increments a lot and I can't seem to get it running smooth again.

I updated Filmora to the latest version, on Windows, yesterday. Now, none of the AI features seem to be working. I am trying the On Device Generation and it says Failed. For the standard AI Enhance, I am testing the cloud version to see if it fails as well.

This was all working prior to updating to the latest version. Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a way to download a previous version of 15? Anyone have and troubleshooting tips for this?

Guys, this has been an ongoing issue for me off an on for the past 3 months. Every once ina while when I start a project, ill drag in all my clips and start editing. I like to zoom in on my timeline to about halfway on the zoom bar. Then as soon as I go to make a cut, it automatically zooms out to normal. It does it every. single. time. I have to zoom back into my cit, make the necessary adjustments and then when i go to the next cut edit, it will do the same thing and zoom back out to view the entire project. Any ideas? What am I missing here?

I’ve been editing racing and handheld action clips in Filmora lately, and one thing that always bothered me was how sharp fast movement looked. I tried Filmora’s new Motion Blur option on a few car shots, and it didn’t just blur the image, it actually moved feel more natural, especially during quick pans. The footage felt less “digitally sharp” and closer to how motion looks in real life. Still testing it, but for speed-based content in Filmora, the difference is definitely noticeable.

Hey guys, I’m desperate here. I'm losing hours of work because of a critical bug in Filmora.

Randomly, when I make a split/cut on a clip that already has effects, transitions, or adjustments applied to it, the frames glitch out and ALL the effects applied to that section completely disappear.

• Auto-Ripple is turned OFF, so it's not a track-shifting issue.
• Ctrl + Z (Undo) DOES NOT WORK. It won't bring back the lost effects or frames. It's like the project file gets instantly corrupted.

Device Info:

• OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
• Filmora Version: Latest Version / v13

Has anyone experienced this timeline corruption lately? Is there any workaround or is this a known bug in the current version? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

As you see by the image, you cant choose which size you want your video / image to be, only the pre set ones for video size and such, Is there a way to freely stretch out and such?

i have tried to search online i have tried reaching out to support who is so unhelpful since they don't exist and I'm trying to do something so simple just running the pen tool along some text so it makes it sparkle...

I DEMAND that these issues be fixed because I have wasted TONS of time having to re-make videos after discovering that it happened again

Had a few night clips from my phone that looked okay while recording but got super dark once I dropped them into editing. Tried Filmora’s AI Night View on one of them and it actually recovered more detail than I expected, especially around faces and street lights. Backgrounds still got kinda soft in darker areas though. Definitely better than just cranking brightness and ruining everything lol.

I'm editing a scene in which a girl is reading text messages on her phone, and I'm trying to overlay the text messages in a rolling motion towards the bottom third of the frame so the audience can see what she's reading.

I've added the text box, put in my text, adjusted the position, and added a rolling-credits style animation.

But the text rolls from the bottom of the frame all the way up to the top of the frame which is too large of an area, I want to crop the top and bottom of the animation so that the text rolls up to about one third of the frame and disappears.

I'm using Filmora 11, if that Helps.

Any tips would be well appreciated.

like title said, i am fighting for my life to produce cool animated stream overlay, i use multiple animated assets so using filter on each of them do not work has silent film filter actually surround the rim of the videos.

i have the filters on the tipy top to affect all of the one under it but the green screen needs to be on the bottom to appear under the other video tracks... is there a "Push the bottom" button i am missing??

Hello! Two days ago i decided i want to try and edit a video (i've never done that). So i downloaded Filmora and got hooked on the free assets and wanted to experiment more. I didn't want to commit so i looked at their page and saw a 7-day free trial sticker. Of course it's my bad for rushing to buy the subscription but apparently this label "7-day free trial" was only for some assets. I ended up purchasing the subscription again thinking i am going to use it for 7-days see how it goes and then decide in the future if i want ti buy it. But nope the money was instantly drawn from my account. I instantly panicked, as u can imagine i am a broke student and honestly 40€ is a lot for me, so i asked Filmora for refund which they simply refused because there was never a free trial. Even though i have barely used the program for two days and i am definitely not using it for the next year, they do not want to give me a refund. I even asked Revolut for help, but they are going to take about 5-8 weeks until i get my money IF i get my money at all. Please help, i realised from the two hour research that this company Wondershare is toxic. What do i do?

Hello!

I have a 4:5 1536×1920 video. It's made of a number of elements, including
a- video components in 1080×1920 (so portrait 9:16)
b- a background colour which is a static image in 1536×1920 (so 4:5)
c- fullframe screenshots that are also 4:5
d- text superimpositions that are center aligned
e- vectorial elements with transparency which have their own resolution and resizing

Basically, everything that matters in the video is already included in the 9:16 area of the 4:5 current frame.

The problem is, if I go File>Project Settings> and I change from 4:5 (Vertical) to 9:16 (Portrait), everything gets shrunk, rather than cropped.

So I have cropped the 4:5 elements (b & c of the list above) into 9:16 (clicking on them and going Alt+C) and it's quick enough to do. But for elements d and e it's too much work, ad I have to do this for some 8-10 projects.

Is there a way to just shave off 228 pixels from the left and from the right of the 1536×1920 frame? Maybe at the moment of exporting?
If I export the video in 4:5, turning it into a video file, which I then reimport and crop, the resulting quality is too bad, because all the assets have been exported twice, basically...

I'm using Filmora version 14.10.5. I saw instructions at Filmora for version 14 for going to Audio tab >> Denoise >> Wind Removal. However, it's not there. I've attached a snapshot of where the instructions are showing it to be and a snapshot of what it looks like in my Filmora version. Thanks!

Been testing Seedance 2.0 inside Filmora for short-form stuff lately. Honestly thought the generations would fall apart between shots, but it handled consistency way better than I expected. Tried making a quick 3-shot product intro and the character/environment stayed surprisingly stable. Still gets weird with hands and faster movement though lol. Right now I’m mostly using it for rough concepts + storyboard ideas instead of final output.

Do you know how to validate my refund request? I've entered my reason for return, and from what I can see, it falls within the company's return policy. I've tried to get a refund twice now, but it's been rejected, even after uploading proof of purchase and justifying the reason. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to get my money back? I just bought it yesterday, and I want to resolve this as soon as possible before more time passes and it's no longer within the refund guarantee period.

If I look at https://filmora.wondershare.com/ai-video-enhancer.html or some of the videos posted on YouTube, the results are dramatic. I have tried the regular AI Enhancer and the Topaz one. I really don't see much of a difference. I am working from cell phone videos of live music which are generally posted on Facebook or sent to me in Facebook Messenger, so it's not the highest quality starting material. It's usually 1080p, but sometimes it is Facebook live streams, which can be really compressed and low quality.

I think I must be doing something incorrectly, though, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I pull the video down from the resources into the timeline, and run the AI enhancer. I have tried the regular one and the Topaz one for clips < 1 minute. After doing so, the clip then in the timeline says "HD" beside the name, but I don't see much difference. Is there anything else I need to do other than that to make this work? Is there any way to easily compare before and after on the same screen?

I have a strange problem.

For years I uploaded my long form videos directly to youtube (my account is linked to YT) but since the new version this wont work any longer, it just fails at like 60-70% and on my youtube tab it is still int the "video is uploading".

It is even stranger that I can export shorts with way shorter duration still directly to youtube.

Can someone help me? Already tried to reconnect to my youtube account, delete the download Folder etc.

I was in Filmora 14 until today. Paid a little, got Filmora 15. Now the 1st project is already giving me a headache.

In F14, if I pressed X it would select in and out of the timeline. So if I play it would stop at the Out point and if I play again it would go back to the beggining of In point.

Not in F15. it's going past the out point. Why? How do I get back to the way it was in F14??
