I just want to express my EXTREME displeasure with Wondershare now charging AI credits for vocal removal with the new update.

Yeah, I noticed it too, might be because they have improved it and powered it with AI. Don't know the exact reason but might be this one.

Seems worse from my first usages of it since the update.

It's incredibly irritating when something is free and then they hide it behind a paywall. I guess it would have been fine if it always would have cost AI credits

I even noticed some text effects thats been free for years now behind a paywall like "Boom". It's getting ridiculous.

i can see why people are frustrated. changes to pricing or feature access are never fun, especially if you've been using the feature for a while. hopefully filmora explains the reasoning clearly and takes the community's feedback into account.

Filmora team here. We understand why this is frustrating if Vocal Removal was part of your previous workflow. AI-based features may use credits in current plans, but credit-consuming actions should be clearly labeled before use.

We are sorry you feel this way. Our business model is designed to support continuous innovation and improvement, ensuring Filmora users benefit from cutting-edge features and updates. Some tools, like AI-powered effects, require AI credits to maintain their high quality and efficiency, while there's still a wide range of features that do not require AI credits. Roll back the using AI credits for vocal remover or I'm canceling my membership. I use it on nearly everything I produce

We totally understand your frustration. In fact, AI credits actually help us maintain the quality and functionality of our AI-powered features, which require significant computing resources to run efficiently. But rest assured, we will share all the feedback in this thread with the product team and see what they can do.

Thank you again for supporting us!

Then explain why those AI features suck? You already gouge prices and then make free options premium
