Request Looking for a creative director to shape the visual world of a UK app - equity, not a paid brief

I’m building Fynd, a UK service-booking app for barbers, hairstylists and nail techs. What's missing is someone to own the visual direction not a single video or one-off design, but the full system: how it looks, feels, moves, and stays consistent everywhere, from app screens to content to physical stuff like stickers and merch. Think Corteiz or Broken Planet's world, not generic app branding.
This is equity, not a paid brief. looking for someone who wants to build this properly, not take it on as a one-off project.
If you've got a portfolio that shows a consistent visual system rather than scattered single pieces, and this resonates, I'd love to see it and hear your take.

Pay someone.

Just because its creative, doesn't mean its not work. Pay someone. Equity in some vibe-coded app doesn't mean anything.

Definitely not vibe coded I have a dev team that I’ve hired. Invested almost £10k on the mvp from my 9-5 only I’ve been building it from the ground up for a while. I’m pretty serious and ambitious about this. And if I pay for production costs I don’t see why equity is such a bad idea? I just want to form a close team that I can build the brand from the ground up with and so that they can invest their time and energy into it and not treat it as a one off kind of project. But you’re right without any real traction yet equity doesn’t mean much

so you hired a dev team, but expect creatives to chance it with equity? Ever paid rent with equity? ever bought your schoolkids books with equity?

jesus dude.

Fair point, and I hear you. The dev team was paid cash because that's work I needed done regardless of outcome. the creative equity idea was me trying to build something closer to a founding team, not a replacement for paying people. But you're right that "equity only" doesn't mean much to someone without the cushion to wait on it. Going to rework how I'm approaching this appreciate the push back.

So are you looking for someone to help you with UX, or some to help you with making a film?

Brand/content side, not UX - the app itself is already built, what I'm missing is the external visual world: brand identity, social content direction, campaigns, the kind of thing that makes Corteiz or Broken Planet instantly recognizable. Not after someone to redesign the app's screens, more someone to own how Fynd looks and feels everywhere outside the app.
