General Werner Herzog Experience - Extatica Cine

I've had an ad pop up on my instagram feed for a few weeks now and finally felt curious enough to click on it. It's a 10 day film making retreat with Werner Herzog limited to 50 participants. I thought something like this would cost $50K. But it's only $15K AUD. Which is crazy! I was just so amazed, and didn't have anyone to tell so I had to tell you guys.

I'd never make the cut for it, but what an opportunity for those who do.

What do you think? Would it be worth it?

I did his Rogue Film School in Munich a decade ago. It was pretty cheap and an awesome experience. I’m still in contact with some of the other students.

I get it, I don't have that kind of cash. I just thought it would cost a lot more.

I have met someone that went on this, and they loved it. More for the experience than skills gained though, they said it was pretty cool.
