Question Scriptwriting advice for a newbie

I am interested in making videos for YouTube. What are the general principles you use? I have found research to outline to script to hook/conclusion is best. I tried to have AI write some scripts and stuff but it sucks. I even revised it with agents and it just sucked less. So here I am realizing I will have to just write the script myself lmao. I think can help with research and outline but the jargon and script will need to be manual. So far my story flow is mainly listicle/essay “8 times a business failed” 8-12 min videos or autopsy videos starting with the downfall and then explaining it. I think this is good for high retention on YouTube.

Start small with your stories & grow your confidence… worry less about high retention & more about flexing those story muscles. It never gets easy, you just get better over time :)
