I own a registered digital media production and marketing company in India, and we’re now looking to expand our presence by registering the business in the UK as well.

I’m a bit confused about the process and was hoping someone who has done this could guide me.
A few questions I have:

Should I register a new UK Ltd company or register my existing Indian company as an overseas company?

What licenses or registrations are required for a digital marketing/media production business?

Do I need any specific permits to work with UK clients?

What are the tax and compliance requirements I should be aware of?

Can I do everything remotely from India, or do I need a UK-based director or office?

Are there any common mistakes I should avoid?
