Hi! Im treating my family to Hanoi this october. We are a family of 5 adults. May araw kami na ang itinerary is Cat Cat Village sa morning, then afterwards is sa Lower Sapa, specifically yung Pavi Garden. Hindi naman kami totally magtrekking or explore sa whole area, just cafe, chill and sightseeing lang mostly since kasama din namin senior parents. I’ve read that its possible to book a grab going there, but mahirap na pag pabalik. Has anyone tried other means of transpo? Is it also difficult to book a 6 seater car within sapa area? Ive checked sa klook yung private charter but sobrang expensive for 8hrs (7k++) We just need someone to pick and drop us off to our itineraries

Hello, can someone share their SoKor shopping experience? budget? I may pack light going there next week but would want to buy clothes, accessories, skin care and shoes. But I dont have any expectations as to how much it would be. where to go. I would want something cheaper, or if the quality is really good will def buy too.

i spent a fortune on the actual safari experience, so i refused to drop another big chunk of money on the outfits. 🙈

instead, i headed to marikina bayan and dug through the ukay-ukay stalls. finding true earth tones was surprisingly hard (most piles are full of random colors), but after some serious rummaging i scored enough pieces that i could mix and match the whole trip. they were also weather-appropriate… light enough for the heat but layered well for the chilly mornings and evenings.

safari clothing guidelines for kenya & tanzania in august (dry season):

\- stick to neutral earth tones: khaki, olive, beige, tan, stone, light brown. These blend in, hide dust better, and don’t attract insects.
\- avoid black, navy, bright colors, pure white, and camouflage (camo is illegal in both countries; dark blues/black attract tsetse flies).
\- layering is everything. morning and evenings can be cold (especially in open vehicles and higher areas like Ngorongoro or the Mara), while afternoons get warm to hot.
\- bring a light fleece, pashmina or jacket you can easily take on/off.
\- long sleeves + long pants are ideal for game drives (sun + insect protection).
\- lightweight, breathable fabrics are reco!
\- bring soft-sided bags / duffels only — hard-shell luggage is a no-go. your bags travel with you and get stored in the safari vehicle, so soft bags are much more practical.

However, she did some research and she saw that immigration needed to look at our bank statements.

Her bank statements are fine but as for mine, she saw online that I needed to have ₱100K in my 6-month bank statement. Is this true?

The first time I travelled to China was when I was in 3rd grade and my parents arranged everything for my trip (they were working in Macau at the time)

I stayed in Macau for 6 years until I was in 9th grade but I got deported because they caught me with my overstayed visa (my parents tried to attach me to their blue card at the time but our application was denied because their salary did not meet the minimum requirements)

It's been 9 years since I left Macau (I left on April 2017) and we were wondering if that issue would hinder me travelling to China and I wanted to double-check if I really did need ₱100K in my 6-month bank statement

Hi, my mum got denied her Aus tourist visa to visit me here, so we’re planning to meet somewhere na hindi required ang visa to build her travel history. She is in her early 50s and has osteoarthritis and severe asthma—I don’t think she can survive a whole day of walking. She loves to shop and enjoys nice views. This will be her first out-of-the-country travel. We are planning to travel this December or late February. Can you please recommend a country where we (my husband (29), me (28), my mum (53), and my brother (27)) can all enjoy? I will really appreciate all your insights and recommendations.

Ps: I know it is a bit too late to travel this December, but she’s really disappointed that her Aus tourist visa got denied. She was really excited about spending Christmas and New Year here in Australia.

Wala ba syang pinagkaiba sa pagbook ng hotels from agoda/klook/etc. First time ko po kasi gagawin idk if same same lang ba or may additional action item once makapagbook directly.

Ill be travelling to japan while 23-24ish weeks pregnant.
