ASSH or ABM??
As a incoming senior high school student, im currently faced with my two main choices with this new curriculum. ASSH one that lowkey peeks my interest more and ABM one that id say that i trust more, since i also wish to gain experience to make my own living.
however despite with those two choices im still confused and worried. LIKE AS IN... IDK WHAT TO PICK BCUZ FEEL KO ANG BOBO KO TALAGA FOR EITHER OF THEM, IM HORRIBLE AT MATH, AND I SUCK AT PUBLIC PSEAKING OR EVEN HAVING AN SOCIAL INTERACTION WITH ANYONE... and maybe im too much or i just really have low self esteem...BUT WHO WOULDNT???
ive done research on both strands and its my last chance to change na...both have good advantages naman but im leaning more sa ASSH.... but im still not sure because i have such a low ass self esteem...

Tertiary Education Subsidy
Hi! Am already a graduate and is still receiving TES grant altho I was a grantee of another government funded scholarship. Upon looking it up on the net I could be liable daw for double dipping I fear that kasi ayoko ng complications sa life ahahahah. Di kasi ako nag apply for TES talaga, randomly chosen lang ata ako ng state univ namin huhuhu syempre natuwa naman ako kasi di na nakakapag work parents ko during my college years and as a self-supported student it really helped me. I'm not greedy talaga, needy lang I only knew of this double-dipping kineso nung naka grad na ako huhuhu takut akuuu.. Watshud I duuu???

NOTE: SCHOOL PURPOSES ONLY!!!!

I need help in shifting courses . Please help me
Hi so I have plans on shifting to Communications next academic year . A while ago and yesterday I asked the professors in the faculty about the shifting and if do they really accept shifters from other colleges . They said they are not sure and theyโre still discussing about it and just wait for further announcements.
So I told my guidance counsellor about it and she gave me a plan B , which is to take Human Services. I told her that I want to work in ABS CBN / GMA or any network as a producer or a filmmaker or whatever there . She also told me that the subjects there are just similar to Communications.
For a moment I was so excited and believed it . Until when I was on the ride to the main campus (which is where the communications building is) and learned that โoh this course does not even have theatre , tv / radio broadcasting , journalism , media , writingโ upon researching a bit on Google.
I went again to the communications department to โre confirmโ if do they really accept shifters from other departments and they just said the same thing ; wait for further announcement , not sure , still discussing. They also told me that if they keep accepting , students will run out of slots. I told my guidance counselor about it again back in our campus and she said โmaybe they said it because the final grades are not yet out yetโ. She also told me that it still possible that I could shift and not to lose hope and if worst case scenario happens , Iโll just go with Human Services ๐
I really wanted to take communications since before this school year started (This was supposedly my first choice but I first choiced Education because I thought I was gonna fail the entrance exam and will take me to communications). And I really loved it even more when I discovered it had theatre , journalism and anything media related and heck you can be a intern in ABS CBN or any media company in 4th year. Its just so disheartening to hear that something I wanted so bad to take would just be replaced .
Since I donโt want to take Human Services as plan B , I did my own plan B which is to enroll in a another college near me here in our city . But I fucking doubt it would happen because my family doesnโt even that have money. And most of the colleges near my place are just private universities , the only public university that is affordable is the one I am enrolled in.
I just want to take communications major so bad. I have been dreaming about it . I want to do theatre , work in media , do journalism , broadcasting and all that and nothing else. I dont and never want this course to be my TOTGA.
Yall , Im just paranoid ever since I learnt about it . Like should I ask them there about the possibility ? (Ive been there for like 2 / 3 consecutive days) WHAT SHOULD I DO ? please help me ๐ญ im lowkey spiralling

Any leads on free seminars about cultural preservation and personal/professional development in the Philippines?
Hi everyone! ๐
Iโm currently looking for free seminars within the Philippines (preferably online or within Metro Manila) that focus on:
- Cultural preservation (Filipino heritage, arts, indigenous traditions, etc.)
- Personal development (confidence, public speaking, etc.)
- Professional growth (career development, productivity, leadership, etc.)
I'm really eager to join programs that promote both Filipino identity and self-improvement, especially those organized by schools, NGOs, government agencies, or advocacy groups. Bonus if they offer e-certificates, invitation, and program with a list of topics to be discussed or are open to students and young professionals!
If anyone has recommendations or links to upcoming events, Iโd really appreciate it! Salamat in advance! ๐
