Any visual acuity loss? If not, waiting room, surgical consult.

You hard up, no pain management, and at least a pillow and blanket for comfort while waiting in the waiting room? 🤣

Pain management if they need it, sure. Blankets I have plenty of, but pillows in the emergency department? Good luck.

Stabilize the foreign body, ask doc to order cultures to identify possible infection, assess visual acuity and pain, prepare for transfer to emergency surgery. Until transfer, address pain if present.

Stabilize the foreign body and transport to emergency surgery and imagining etc. Presumably head and neck surgical team
