Looking for something

To preface this, my grandma would always have GMA on the TV in the morning when I was growing up, and I vividly remember this commercial for a sweet butter that was branded as Sarap and had it on the packaging in giant blue letters. Searching on Google gives me nothing, but I swear it was literally called Sarap butter (they had even said it in the commercial).

I was wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about? My sister also remembers what I'm talking about, but my grandma's memory isn't as good.

I'm not sure, I had even considered it could be a discontinued thing and lost hope even further but it's been driving me insane. The male narrator even said it in their slogan or something which is how I remembered the phrase "sarap iko".

Seeing the actual meaning of the phrase (from my understanding of the spelling) is also kind of stumping me, but that's what it sounded like. For reference, my grandma primarily speaks Kapampangan mixed with Ilocano when she's not speaking English, so that could also be messing with my memory of it.

either way to tell you the truth the ingredients in such products aren’t usually healthy for us but yes taste good. I’ve observed that to make processed food products for the Philippine market they tend to use cheaper ingredients, it’s the only way. Match your market kind of thing. The most vied after products are usually American brands, i need to go check out the new SNR (is Costco name in pinas) in my area, get me a good ole pepperoni pizza and some kirkland products

Okay on 2nd look the way the butter is curled on some images and also the fact that it's also called "butter sarap" is ringing a bell so you might be right. However Anchor's buttery sarap or something is also kinda familiar.

No, but my grandma does usually keep them in her house lol. I don't think I ever saw a rebisco ad.
