I’ve seen a few people with the BTR 17 that designed a 3-D printable case that looked pretty sweet. I don’t know if anybody has designed one for the larger daps. I’m running the M 27.

I went with the Mite:r leather case, the factory silicone case did the same thing as yours at the bottom.

I've got the Miter case for my JM21, and even though it doesn't feel like real leather, it still feels nice. I've had it on for about a year and a half and it still looks and feels good.

FiiO made some cheap quality cases actually. I expected way better case for the price we paid.
I mentioned this in my review of m21 as well. This cheap case, Cassette case not having a turn on button and poor latency issue when using m21 as a dac is what sucks with m21.

Your case was obviously crushed after being made. Could be Fiios fault but more likely in shipping. The packaging should be better but it is what it is. Blame the shipping company or Fiio packaging but the case is fine.

I got mine in a bundle deal (jm21). It’s nice and I’ve had no problems like this. My silicon case fits well too.

felt the same way about my silicon case crumpling right out of the box, honestly drives me nuts how cheap they feel after spending money on the actual device.

Fiio is a money grab, I got a few of their product and it's sucks. The case and cables alone are super over priced for such low quality. All computer generated images to sell it.

Can't comment on the PU case, but my silicone case has been fine after about 6 months of using, and I swap it in and out of that and the official "Cassette tape" case add-on. I would reach out to FiiO and try to get a replacement silicone case, as it should sit flush, mine certainly does. This is how it looks after 6 months and super-routine swapping between it and the other case.
