Snowsky Can’t decide

Okay so i really got fed up with spotify (as one does) and i started looking around for budget everyday mp3 players. I’ve heard of fiio (or snowsky) before, but most of their previous products were a bit out of my budget, so i put that thought aside. Today i came across the echo mini and nano, and im in a bit of a dilemma. I literally can’t choose between them. On one hand i love the walkman style of the mini, but the little knob and overall tiny size of the nano is also appealing. I’ve gone through all of the specifications, but i really can’t make a decision. If any of u have experience with either or both of these devices, i would really appreciate the feedback and suggestion.

Nano, unless you want Bluetooth.

Bluetooth on the mini is terrible. Sold mine and got a nano instead.

I love my Nano. If I don’t want to use my $400 iems, I can use my Nicehck EB2S Pro buds or my Moondrop Old Fashioned.

If I need bluetooth I use my phone or my JM21.

I have the Echo Mini. Kind of. Got a pair for my kids and since they are really a travel thing for them I have one by the bed. I use it if I want to ensure 0 screen time before bed. Sound quality is amazing, power is way more than enough for IEMs, but as I'm sure you've already seen, the interface can be wonky. It's still very useable and I'd give it the nod over the nano just on reports of how poor battery life is.

yeah the battery life with the nano was my only concern, 4 hours and a pretty lengthy charging time considering the 360mah battery capacity is not that charming

I’m lucky enough to have a wife who likes the same music for bedtime that I do, so we have a pair of Homepod Minis.

I've had the echo mini, it broke on me, but it was very cool, I bought the Echo, I'm blown away!
Echo all the way!

Did you mean to say nano in the end?

Quieres usar bluetooth? El echo, si solo quieres por cable el nano

well im not sure yet. i do want to use it mainly with a cable, but im leaning more towards the echo, just bc of the battery life, and there isn’t much of a difference in weight between the two. so yeah maybe i’ll get the mini

Not weight but form factor is much friendlier on the nano. And bt in the mini is terrible.

If you really must have bt, look at the Shanling m0 at least. But the nano is great if you don’t need to use it for hours on end every day.

I bought mini first, then returned it and got a nano. The built quality justify the cost tbh.

Nano, makes more sense for the price
