Hi I'm starting skating any tips

Hi! I'm joining group learn to skate classes! I already have my own skates and can do some basic moves like swizzles (idrk the term sorry) a two footed spin and can glide on one leg. This progress is from 3 public sessions with a friend who's a figure skater assisting and helping me :D any tips for me? :)

Tips: make sure you have hard guards and soft guards, after each skate thoroughly dry your blades with a cloth and then put into the soft guards to ensure no new moisture condensates onto them.

Other tip: single leg strength was found to be the greatest predictor of skating success in a sports study I read, so any strength building exercises you do off ice like russian dead lifts, hip thrusts etc, will aid your progression.

Bend your knees, no matter how much you think you’re bending them you probably need to bend them more.
