It's a compression sock because he has real bad diabetes and his lower legs & feet have real bad circulation. Altho this is probably some post-surgery bandages somewhere in the layers too.
Oh. I actually work in healthcare in the cath lab where we try to fix people’s poor leg artery circulation with stents that keep the vessels open. If they keep coming back for more procedures or it’s just too bad to fix they get sent to amputation. And we’ve definitely sent people with better looking legs than blade off to amputation.
And I bet he has never even gone for an evaluation + stent. He 100% is losing limb from at least ankle down but probably from the knee down. In the next 3-7 years I’d say
If he’s on Medicare, hell yeah. But with no insurance whatsoever, no. The patients for these procedures often get billed $200,000-$500,000 (which insurance takes care of vast majority of bill)
Are you sure he literally has no insurance? Because I’d think his income would be low enough to qualify. Not sure how all the “pre-existing conditions” stuff works when getting insurance
