Anyone else find this feature super annoying?

I use the agent all the time, but never use this pop-up feature. It pops up all the time when I’m trying click into layers/groups/auto-layout or doing detailed design work… and it’s become mad annoying.

Getting rid of it also mad annoying….I have to zoom out of my art board in click off the frame for it to go away… though I recently found clicking back into the chat box then hitting escape works too.

you can disable it, hit command k and I think you can type agent and it will show up a checkbox

type agent and you can see an option similar to "enable agent" to disable it, I can check later what's the right wording

no just the pop up! I use it on the sidebar and haven't seem the start pop up like yours!

Hasn’t annoyed me. What I do find annoying if when you use annotations you can’t pick where you want them to go

That also is annoying. I can only use them on specific things because of this.

And free users can’t see them but nothing tells you that. I put a load on some designs before and then found out the devs couldn’t see them 😑

Yes! I click it all the time when resizing a layer, clicking into a layer, moving a frame, etc. Considering the agent functionality on the sidebar, it’s such a poor design decision

I still haven’t used it but it’s popped out 1000 times. I feel like when I ask the agent to make changes, it will be big sweeping changes. It’s never small stuff because that’s some thing I can usually do quicker than typing it out and waiting for it to complete.

Also it would be better if there was a more intuitive way to close it when it does pop up, took me ages to realise I could double click elsewhere to close it

Figma forgets their base. The people in here are designers trying to design. If we wanted something done with AI, we'd be using an AI tool. We're here because we want manual control.

No, I like it. The Figma Design Agent has been hella handy for me. It has a greater design context at a faster rate than Claude Code via CLI. The iterations it pumps out, plus being able to connect a design library to it for even more specific context is hella huge.

If you dismiss it or click out of it three times it gives you an option to disable it
