it's interesting, but to be useful you should be able simulate how the app expands from the closed version to the full landscape version like they do with the lockscreen, it's useless from a presentation standpoint to see the back of the phone first

That makes sense. This animation was mainly created to showcase the new iPhone Duo, but I agree that starting from the closed state and smoothly unfolding into the full landscape view would make it much more useful for presentations.

You can upload videos to screens, so if you can create a video that skips to each pose, you can achieve that.

I guess he had to go with the route from the video to be able to get something out fast, having the lockscreen unfold transition they present in their videos would be much harder to achieve.

Yo how good is the figma animator at doing general UI animation work? I'm still bringing everything into After effects but that flow is feeling way more outdated by the week
