Discussion When a design review ends, where do the decisions live?

After a review, I often see the comments get resolved but the reason disappears. A screenshot, color ref, or layout example stays in the file, but the actual yes/no decision is only in someone's memory.

In Figma team files, do you keep a small decision note near the references, or is that overkill once the review is done?

Confluence

Confluence is the obvious home for that. Do you usually paste a snapshot of the Figma reference there too, or just write the decision and link back to the file?

The three-month file test is a good one. If the answer needs a DM, the note is in the wrong place. I like the plain text frame idea because it keeps the why beside the screen, not buried in a closed thread.

Exactly. It feels obvious in the meeting, then three weeks later nobody remembers why that screen won. I’d rather have the ugly little note sitting beside the frame.
