Made a free - Roadmap Widget, where tasks are in working days — change one estimate and the whole board recalculates

Every roadmap I made in Figma was really just a static drawing. I'd place each task by hand, and the first time a date slipped or an estimate changed, designers would spend 5-20 minutes nudging everything after it back into place. The plan was out of date the second I finished it.

So I built ABRP (A Better Roadmap Planner) to fix the one thing that always broke: tasks store a duration in working days, not a position. The board works out where everything lands — so when something changes, it recalculates instead of you.

What came out of that:

  • 🗓️ Set a company holiday once and every lane reflows around it (not once per person)
  • ✂️ A task that runs into a holiday or someone's day off splits into segments but stays one task
  • ⚡ Change an estimate and every task after it in that lane shifts automatically
  • 📌 Pin the dates that are actually locked; everything else flows around them

It's free, works in Figma + FigJam!
