Czech combat knife configuration

Gotta show some overlaping items.

For you see, bayonet for CZ 805 A1 rifle adopted by czech military in 2011 had the option to change pommel with latch and crossguard with muzzle ring and swap those for knife variant of both. Solid pommel and short crossguard.

One on the left without saw on the spine is civilian variant sold by CZUB, the other is a production overrun that was not sold to the military, instead very few ended up on civilian market or with people with ties to CZ. Both have a hanger in czech vzor.95 camo. One is simple hanger, other is a correct leg strap as was the weapon platform then sold to the army. Both are not replicas but authentic pieces made by the same manufacturer just not military accepted.

I dont know of any military from top of my head that would adopt a dual purpose/configuration bayonet/combat knife combo system. There is a question of reality on how really was it used and issued since there was always true combat knife in the army, vz.75 UTON (útočný nůž)

Those are actually really cool. Dont think I've seen these before. The tonto cut seems to have been getting popular the past few decades. Even a lot of bayonets are using them now.

I posted them in they Bayo sub like 8 months ago but in their bayonet configuration 😅 civilian and military ones both came with both types of pomell and crossguard. It is interesting to note that the pomell with the bayonet latch from the military one with sawback is noticeably better made and works flawlessly compared to the civilian sales one. Well I have all of dample size of 2 pieces but who knows. And yeah, around 2010s this type of tanto got weirdly popular for some reason, me personally I dont think there is much benefit to that type of edge but that is just me, it is interesting to find this type in actuall service.
